ABOUT ME
Product designer focused on digital access for all, wherever they are
I’m a product designer who loves making digital experiences feel clear, intuitive, and aligned with a company’s mission. I’m especially drawn to work that helps people get outside and connect with nature or obtain reliable internet access. Digital access matters whether you’re at home watching TV or out in the wild taking pictures of plants. When I’m not designing, you’ll usually find me camping, hiking, jogging, or walking with my husband, son, and dog, often with a camera in hand. I also love cooking and unwinding with a good TV show.

MY SKILLS
Visual Design & Branding
I believe aesthetically pleasing design increases perceived usability and trust. I create visually appealing web and app experiences that stay true to brand guidelines and clearly tell the brand’s story. I use an iterative design process, incorporating feedback from user testing, designers, and stakeholders to arrive at solutions that feel both user-friendly and on-mission.

I combine qualitative research and quantitative data to inform design decisions. I work with UX researchers and also run usability tests, review click and funnel data, and synthesize insights to identify pain points and opportunities. This helps me design flows that not only feel better for users, but also measurably improve engagement and conversion.

I have prepared and delivered many presentations over my years of experience. I’m confident explaining my designs, clearly articulating tradeoffs, and defending decisions while integrating important feedback. I’ve presented to senior stakeholders, as well as developers, designers, PMs, clients, and cross-functional partners in a concise and approachable way.
Tools: FigmaCross collaboration
I prioritize incorporating the right feedback into the design by collaborating closely with marketing, product, and engineering. By working cross-functionally I ensure the website and app tell a consistent story across all print and digital platforms. I also partner with developers to align on technical constraints.
Tools: FigJam, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google MeetProduct Thinking
I consistently balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints. I avoid pushing designs that don’t align with at least one of these dimensions, and instead look for solutions that create value for both users and the business.
Tools: Figma, JiraJourney Mapping
I analyze areas of high drop-off to understand what’s causing friction and ensure those issues are addressed in redesigns. Mapping end-to-end journeys helps me evaluate the overall flow of the product and informs the underlying information architecture.
